How to Install Slack in Centos 7,8 / Redhat 7,8 / Fedora

Slack is a way for teams to communicate and work more effectively and efficiently. It’s a workspace were teammates communicate, make decisions, and information is shared. With Slack, teams are connected.

Lets Install Slack Desktop Application in Centos / Redhat / Fedora

1) Download the Slack Package from the link below.
Download Slack for Linux

2) After Downloading the Package. switch to the Downloads folder where you have downloaded the Slack Package.

cd ~/Downloads
ls
slack-3.3.7-0.1.fc21.x86_64.rpm

3) Now Install it with yum command. Make sure you are in the downloads directory where slack rpm package is present.

yum install slack*

4) Slack has been Installed Successfully. run the following command in terminal

slack

You can access it by GUI Also by clicking on Applications > Internet > Slack
